Nice looking Twotter, Chris! Have on in the stash to do in Kenn Borek colours eventually. Also wish they made Amphibs and Tundra Tires for it...

Wow, what went wrong? Asking as I'm going to start mine one day.

Mostly my fault type problems, first one I used the wrong landing gear fairings for the version I wanted to build (watch that, the instructions aren't really clear)I tossed the kit but saved some parts. On the second one I built, the wings were warped (like helicopter blades, to be honest all these kits have the problem but I missed it until the wings were built. I trashed the kit. The third kit was going along ok until I tried to fix the engine nacelles where they join the wing (very poor fit) I sanded them smooth but ended up with banana shaped engines...tossed the kit as well. This kit, I put brass spars in the wings, used pics of the prototype to locate and build the landing gear fairings, used wings and engines from this and previous kits to get good engine fits. I also narrowed the windshield "a" pillars which if left alone appear too wide. I had to make my own windshield because narrowing the pillars makes the kit windshield too small to fit, I also added two cabin side windows (1 each side) built a full interior and added weight to the nose (otherwise it tips back unrealistically on the floats)
Looking at all this I guess I did quite a bit to it...

Oh yes, the wing stall fences...too thick and too far inboard.

That's an impressive list. I have some add-ons, like undercarriage fairings and new cockpit - let's see if they help. Will use your info for reference for sure 👍 Thx
