very nice model. congratulations, I am happy to see that there are people out there not afraid of using and displaying the swastika anymore, it is part of the "fear factor" of this planes, don´t belive that people will became nazi just by watching this on one model... the manifactures should add them in the models.

Hi Heitor, looks nice your 109 👍 but the swastika decal shows some silvering, right?
@Cesar: in Germany it's the law - as simple as that. Not every modeller is willing two publish two different sets of pictures, with and without Nazi-symbols.

Ulf Petersen, Some 109´s had one clear "square" around the swastika, formed when they painted the camo in the field, after the simbols are im place, like in this picture [img1].html
I belive that this is the case, and about the law, it is good to know, because I am living in germany now and I had no idea of such censure...

This is no censure!
This point is important to me as I am engaged as a mod in a german modelling forum.
It is the result of a democratic process, not the despotism of a single person or party in power (which would be censure).
Germany is after its historical experience not at all interested in having swastikas and SS-runes still being misused as propaganda for nazi activities. Showing these symbols is only allowed on historical material like pictures, films and illustrations or in educational or museums context.
Unfortunately scale models do not fall under these exceptions. So if you live in Germany now you should make sure that you do not show models with forbidden symbols in public or publish pictures of them on german platforms as our authorities treat this issue seriously.
Regards
Ulf

Ulf, thanks a lot for the information, as we know, our models can be bought: historical and educational, but I am just a Brazilian guy trying to catch up with the tings around here, one question, I have pictures of my models to post in this website, am I in danger of sufer such sanctions from authorities here by publishing this in Salemates or Facebook? or just in German Websites?

Thanks for the comments guys! Ulf, its not silvering. In fact its the RLM65 base because the swastica area was masked to the application of the RLM02. At home I'll post the profile.

Heitor, thanks, I see, my fault.
Cesar, you have to follow the law on german based forums and websites. But when you post pictures with sanctioned symbols it's the hoster who is responsible for the content on his website of forum. He who signs the "about us" page has to deal with the authorities, not you when you provide content on a third party website. That's why we in our forum are very sensible with this issue and remove illegal pictures as soon as we discover them - not always easy, I can tell you!
However I am glad to be able to give you a better understanding. If you have further questions please contact me via PM as it seems not fair to me to capture Heitors thread. 😉
