Thanks George. I had two problems - the tracks which are sectional pieces and glue together and the instructions which are not completely translated into English. There is a reference to an alternate machine gun referred to as "bapnaht version" which is not included in the kit. I also had problems with the skirting as the panels didn't match up real well and required flat black paint for what is supposed to look like the rubber part with the medium green metal fasteners. Overall it was a fairly easy build even though I did get bogged down in a few places. It was a better quality kit than an AirFix and the directions were easier to follow than an AirFix.

George, you might want to check out the Photoetch detail sets from Eduard. I would consider using them next time. I took some additional pictures with a neutral grey background instead of choosing a background that is on the opposite side of the color wheel.

Album info

The Soviet main battle tank T-72 first came out in 1973 and was called the "Ural." Modernized in 1979 with new laser and night sights, solid board screen, new canon 2A46, napalm defense system and modernized engine. The updated version designated T-72-A was produced until 1985.
