Gustavo, do you have a conversion set to build a Dutch Dornier? The Italeri kit is for a Do24T with BMW Bramo engines whilst the Dutch Dorniers were Do24N types wich had Wright Cyclone engines and an other turret armament. Sorry, don't want to spoil the fun building it, just informing.

Actually, the Dutch Do's were of the K type. A guy who have converted this kit to a good Dutch version explains here: modelingmadness.com/review/allies/nein24.htm

Erwin, Erik, I'm aware of the differences, but I don't have any aftermarket to make the conversion. I am just building a dutch Do 24 cause I'm bored of the dark green/black green/light blue schema, and I don't like the spanish one 🙂 And don't worry about spoiling the fun, I model just for fun, so I'll go ahead! Anyway, thank you very much for your advise!
@Thomas, thank you mate 🙂
BTW, I'll make my own decals of the X-35.

Thanks Erik 👍!
Advances: I gave a primer with Model Master grey primer, designed the decals with *Inkscape*, a really very good open source vector graphics software, and printed then with my old HP Photosmart C5280 inkjet printer. Then, I gave a pre-shaded with a dark Payne's grey.
I painted the underside playing with Revell 05 white and Tamiya XF-2 flat white. Upperside surface colour was made by mixing Tamiya medium grey and Model Master 4660 dark blue.

Hi guys, thank you very much!
I gave a wash with my mix of brown ink, acrylic matt black, water and detergent. I had also worked on the weathering details, with different grades of a mix of brown and black pastels diluted with turpentine for the exhausts stains, and a lighter mix of the the same pastels and orange for the rust stain effects.
Then I gave a coat of our Future equivalent, "Blem autobrillo" (I'm afraid that the product has changed to another brand 🙁). Then I applied the decals.
The next entry should be the last one, with the kit finished. It lacks giving a last matt coat, removing the masks, and rigging and mounting the radio wires.
