Day 2: Wings being prepared. Removed ailerons and flaps. These will be also swapped for resin parts. Notice the missing stem between flap and the aileron. Make sure you will cut towards the fuselage, otherwise you could cut off this tiny bit like i did.

David Lengyel It's great to be back, although I have to keep the goals of the project in my mind all the time. I mean, when I saw the conversion sets with the option of the opened avionics bay, I was in awe because of the details. It's really tempting but right there I had to say to myself STOP dude, you're not going to cut everything. Keep it simple. Oh well, sometimes I wish I would not be such detail freak

Holger Kranich Wear the chains of superdetailing with pride, David!
Its always tempting to have those options but i often stop me, not to overdo it! Well, i know how you feel!

David Lengyel I set up the bar: build it as real as possible, that means when it should be ready to fly, drop the flaps, open the canopy, ladder, add some RBF flags, wheel chocks and FODs. Weapon load true to the real layouts (not the imaginary to the teeth which I did before break). If there's any maintenance door opened, DO NOT equip the bird with weapons, etc. Now tell me how crazy I am
