This is not simply building a diorama; it is clearly a form of art. It combines craftsmanship, painting, sculpture, composition, storytelling, and attention to detail to create a scene that tells a story and evokes an atmosphere.

Really good. I am attempting to build some buildings out of foam, but I doubt it will look as good as yours. Well done 👍

Warren HoldenI attempted to build the Vespa motorbike from this Gecko 35GM0133 kit and found it to be an absolutely dismal offering from Gecko both in terms of the appalling instructions and the actual design of plastic parts.
With reference to the supplied instruction booklet, some of my findings are as follows:
Step 24, component A18 (spring) - There is no information where one end of this spring component is to be fitted. The depiction in Step 24 doesn't provide any information or guidance about the angle of spring orientation with respect to the end that is shown to be connected to the engine assembly. Moreover, later steps 25 and 27 don't even show the spring component A18 at all (its completely disappeared !!!). How bad is this ?
Step 24, component A7 (motor starter pedal) - The instructions shown the connection of the pedal end on the wrong side of the engine assembly. I was initially frustrated to find no keying/connection point on the engine block assembly (in accordance with the instructions) and went ahead and glued it (mistakenly) in accordance with the instructions. I subsequently had to break it apart and fit it to the other side of the engine assembly.
Step 25, component A1 - This is ridiculously tiny and extremely difficult to fit. I have no idea why Gecko decided to supply this as a separate component as it could have easily (and more practically) be part of component A22. This is just pure and simply poor & stupid design.
Step 25, components A8 and A11 - These two small components are to be glued together however it it very difficult to glue them together with correct alignment due to inadequate keying/connection point. Again, I have no idea why Gecko decided to supply these two small components separate since they could have easily (and more practically) be just one part and this would save the builder from a lot of frustration in assembly. Again, I consider this is just pure and simply poor & stupid design.
Step 25 - The previous Step 24, component A18 (spring) is not shown ??? Poor instructions that haven't been properly checked.
Step 27 - The previous Step 24, component A18 (spring) is not shown ??? Poor instructions that haven't been properly checked.
Step 28, component A19 (throttle pedal) - There is no keying/connection point on mating component A26 hence fitting is difficult and just down to guess work. Poor plastic design.
For the above reasons, I certainly do not believe that Gecko have trial built this motorbike in accordance with the provided instructions since my findings and errors would have been highlighted to Gecko and they would have both revised the instructions and re-engineered the actual plastic components.
Further updates and comments will be made after I try to build the remaining two motorbikes and one bicycle.
I wouldn't recommend this kit.

Warren HoldenThe kit is fairly well detailed however the actual model figure has the following differences to the box art depiction, (1) The model figure right arm orientation is completely different and higher up than the box art, (2) The model hands are not in scale (they are too large with sausage fingers) - this actually spoils the model in my opinion, (3) The supplied goggles are too large to fit to the cap, (4) The model figure overcoat is much simpler and plainer than the box art, it doesn't have the folds and creases as shown on the box art, (5) The supplied tripod is much larger (taller) than the box art, the three legs will need to be cut down in length to make it look similar to the box art, (6) There is no strap provided for the binoculars, you will need to scratch build one to make it look similar to the box art.

Warren HoldenThe figures in this kit are NOT 1:35 scale, they are quite a bit smaller than 1:35 scale. I tried using one of these figures with others from other manufacturer's kit and they are noticeably smaller and hence cannot mix and match.

Warren HoldenThe detail of the figures is excellent. The kit comes with lots of accessories, parts & photoetch to compliment the figures and make a diorama.

@Christoph Kunz The ornamental features on the door were cut out from a plastic table cloth. Cheap plastic table cloths have interesting shapes and features that can be easily integrated into 1:35 scale dioramas.

Yes, finally added my stash. I bought the Sopwith Camel with an idea to integrate it into a crash scene diorama, its 1:32 scale but could possibly get away with it in a 1:35 scale diorama with figures.
