Anton P Author@Neuling - good question btw. The photo shows not an M2 Browning, but an M240, most likely the tank-mounted M240B/M240C.
Its not a common option, sometimes you can see it on some training/demo vehicles.
I used it from the box, cause it looks better for latest versions, more modern lets say.
