The TA-152 was the first kit I've builded after 30 years of work break.
Decals were a nightmare, quality of the kit remembered me to my youth and airfix.
This one is finished now and waiting for the rest to arrive.

The P-51 is a bit of a nightmare to get it fit well. A lot of gaps on the wings Body structure. The prop took a lot of time to get it into the right shape.
Now painting is on its way.

The BF 109 is the best kit so far related to the fitting accuracy

The 109 and the 47 are the best kits, you are right! But nothing to wonder, the P-51 is a real old mould and the Ta-152 is an old FROG kit! That mould is maybe older than we both together!😢😄😄

Revell has real nerve to still be marketing the pregnant 1964 P-51D with trapezoid gear doors! At least they could upgrade to the Matchbox mold!

Right Phil, it sometimes an impudence what revell is releasing but on the other hand they make some real cool things like the Ju88 or the He219 in 32 scale for an unbeatable price! And i was grown up with their kits and love them ever since!😢

That is exactly my point. Revell has a brand image to protect and it is not the age of the molds but the quality that should be at the forefront of their market decisions.

Thank' s all
when I opend the first box I thought that I was six again. 🙂 and it was wondefull... like a timemachine

I agree with Holger that the kits are sometimes old and can't be compared with new ones (the new Revell 1:48 Tornado.....)

But it's allways a little journey back to my youth.... that's great fun

And that's what it is to me .... Building kits = fun
Even when I have to fill big gaps, sand down, glue or paint

It's a hobby
