Looking good! I have the G-6, and it doesn't have any interiors. If you want a nice camo, check this: [img1]

Looks good.

Camo is great, but, the white at the wingtips seems a little bit irregular.

Yes I'm not happy with it. I'll have to do a bit of tidying up tomorrow, whilst I'm applying the decals.

Decals done. Don't you just love them small stencils? One more coat of gloss then on to my favourite part, Filters/Weathering etc.

Looking good, and you've fixed the white paint!. What colour will you paint the engine ceiling?

The instructions show a dirty sort of greyish White.I'll probably do it like that and bring it all together with different filters. I'm still not 100% with the white on the wing tips (my Stuk masking tape keeps misbehaving) but hopefully i can sort it at the next stage.

Model completed. Must be record time for me. It was a nice little build, the first German plane I've built for a long time. I think I might have to do some more 1/72 aircraft as they do take up less space, when display room is at a premium. 🙂

What a nightmare afternoon. Just put this last completed model into my display cabinet and CRASH! Five glass shelves decided to collapse along with most of my models, ending up in a tangled mess of plastic planes and tanks. After a lot of initial abuse aimed at anyone in close proximity, I've managed to salvage and repair most of them. Isn't modelling fun🙂

What a nice model Martyn!
Has it really been that? What a pity about the glass shelves, I hope there were not many models (and thus, I have my models in a wooden shelf).

Great Job!

Thanks Claudio. Unfortunately this model was one of the ones that ended in the mess. I've spent the last few hours with lots of glue repairing and have only lost one model, which I deemed unrepairable. It wasn't as bad as it looked, and model lost was only an old one I didn't much like anymore. The shelves have been reinforced !

only one loss? Use it as a material from scratch. And make sure the shelves! I'm Studiying Engineering, and I know what happens when a structure is not well done ...

Thanks Es-haq. Yes I think the shelves are a bad design. I might be sending a strong email to the manufacturer.

Thats a nice one. I like the paint job on this little 1/72 fighter .... cool 👍

Thanks Mike and Albi. I agree with you Mike about the antenna. I have replaced with a better one after the accident (see above) but it's an area I struggle with along with rigging.
