Hey. I'm building the exact same kit as you and the exact same version. Heh. Good luck.

Hey Mike, that's great. Looking forward to seeing your build. Do you have any photos up yet?

On armorama.. not here. I also haven't done any photos while I was building it. But I'll have some after I'm done.

Perfect timing. I'm almost finished with mine as well... And, like you, I haven't much time to work on it as I was working on another project for a group build on Armorama which is 99.9% done (the project not the group build). All I need is to finish the decals on the Jeep and clear coat.

Excellent. Looking forward to seeing yours. I just finished the decals today, so I'm closing this one up. I was going to weather it, but I think the person I'm giving it to would rather have it looking like new.

Looks very nice and clean. I had done a little bit of weathering (to the extent that I can) and I will hopefully be adding some stowage at a later point but as soon as I spray that coat of varnish after the decals I'll share some pictures.

Album info

A quick WWII era Jeep build. I'm planning on building this as a recon jeep, so it will have the machine gun mount. I decided not to add the tripwire cutter on the front, as I just didn't like the way it looked, even if it is accurate for a scouting jeep.
