pete griffithsHi, used humbrol decal fix, but didnt work as well as expected. Keeps dissolving the paint! should the model be sealed with gloss varrnish first, then apply decals, then spray with mattcote?

Wim van der Luijtyup, that's the way I do, it the gloss coat protects the paint and prevents silvering of the decals as well

pete griffithsOk, thanks for that. How do you find the microsol and microset? Any real difference to humbrol decalfix?

Wim van der LuijtHave never used the humbrol product so really can't compare. From what I read microscale isn't the strongest solution out there but has worked for me so far.
The only niggle I have is that I keep knocking over my microset bottle 😄 but that's just me being clumsy....
