Thank you guys - its far from perfect I know but was trying to capture the 'look' of this aircraft as seen in many of the photos I checked out. Not a particularly successful plane but I product of its time. It was a subject and area of interest completely new to me and most enjoyable for that. Thats what you get when you buy an old kit at an AirShow - Old Buckenham to be pricise this year.

Excellent! This is a little bit funny because I started to build this one yesterday for an online competition in the category Vintage Kits. I hope that mine will come out as nice as Yours. BTW, did You use the kit`s decals?

Hi Christian - yes I did use the kits decals although I did buy a second set from Berna but the roundels where too small. They went on OK but I did trim out all the clear sections. One tip is to add at the junction of the fuselage components extra locating strips - I didnt do this and it was hard to align the joints well.

Thank you both Guido and Lukasz. Christian, I think you will enjoy this build as the kit is quite reasonable for its age. The colour I choose was a 'hybrid' as I didnt like the ones suggested! I used Humbrol Matt 110 Natural Wood with dark wash.

ps - painting all the glazing was a nightmare - I usually mask and spray but the turrets and cockpit canopy were so complex I resorted to hand painting and it shows. Also the glazing bars have small rivet detail present so even using strips of pre-painted thin tape was not an option.

Well Michael, the glazing is very complex indeed. I think Tamiya tape is the best solution. I`ve seen no pre cut masks for this kit so far.
