wonderful Kerry, the Do 335 in 1:32 sure your model of the year, in addition to the Ho 229 probably the eyecatcher in any collection 👍

Choppa, The kit in the box I am holding is the "production" kit I was given as a 'Surprise' that arrived here this morning, as part of the payment for my efforts in writing a 'review' of the kit as I built it.
What I wrote will be published in the 'Concept notes' book. 🙂
And what I will be posting here will be all the images of the "Test shot" as I built it for them, before all the final 'adjustments' were decided on for the final product.

Good on ya mate, all your effort is paying off, plus you get to help fellow modelers as well.🙂👍

Michael, Ben, James and Mike. Thank you all so much for your wonderful and kind words, and especially big mike from Coffs, (I hope you weathered the recent weather ok 👍) 🙂
It was a hoot being part of the whole shebang, but more the excitement of being part of this huge family. 👍
Cheers. 🙂

Thanks Lex, good to have you watching. 👍 I have had to keep this build 'under wraps' while it all came together in Japan, all part of the "non disclosure" agreement with ZM until full time production of the kit for the public started.:-/
So, I will post every image I took of what was on the 'test shot' runners, with some bits explained, and also some of the work and painting I did as well.🙂
I hope it all inspires you to spend a dollar or two and get one as well, because you will NOT be disappointed in what you get.👍
So, 🙂 lets us begin. 🙂

one of my favorite aircraft, and what a kit and level of detail... definitely in for this one... even if its half as good as the horten, it will be a stunner...

Bart, I can only say, I did the best I could with what I had, as there were a lot of pieces that had to be corrected in Japan before the 'final' production unit went on the market, and these flaws were 'discovered' as test shot build happened.🙂

Looking forward to the rest mate! I've it ordered but it's on backorder.

Urban, I will have the "Build" in the following posts, and I hope it will be of some help mate, as there are some little things I discovered you will need to know. 🙂

I'm sure that your build will help me! But I'm in no hurry to start it so there's no panic mate.

there is some great detailing in this kit 👍 🙂

Cant wait to see it build 😉

OK everyone. I am going to create a new "Album", purely of the build, as to troll through all the images just to get to the build part is distracting, so I will simplify the whole thing this way. 🙂

That's the best option!

Yeah Kerry, we had a constant down pour all day Friday right through to Sunday morning. The beach that I walk the dog down to looks completely different now with most of the dunes being washed away. It's even a bit of a challenge getting access to the beach.🙁

YEAH. !!! The Gold Coast didn't fare too well either, or the whole east coast and Tassie for that matter. But what a system. :-O Have you seen Sydney's beach fronts. ? It's like we are slipping underwater. 🙁

I know I saw some pics of the Nth Shore in Sydney and what used to be backyards is now where the white water comes to. Defiantly not good news for those home owners. But if you want to live that close to the water you've got to expect these things to happen. I'm glad I'm about 300 meters back from the beach and a little higher too.

Having the kit here I nonetheless had to drool over your pictures, my friend! I absolutely share your excitement about the superb moulded detail everywhere!

Album info

The "Test shot" as I built it with just what I was supplied with from the design team in Japan.
All I had were the 'rough' sketches and line drawings of the kit before it went into actual full time production.
