The Tamiya Honda Rc-166 is one of the most intricate kits I have ever built. Making the link by link chain was wonderful.
I get inspiration from "Scenery" and the activity in that picture, and 1950 pits are very basic.

This was published in "Finescale Modeller" some 12 years ago.
The 1/32 kit. The engines on these Stukas sometimes ran very lean, and that is why you get the 'white' look from the exhaust stacks.
Blame little bits of "Blue Tac" for the desert look.
The after market springs were for holding the exhaust pipes in place.
Spring has sprung, the grass has rizz. :-[)
Painted in these dynamic colours so that the Germans wouldn't shoot down their own aircraft.
These are the Eduard 1/4 scale instrument pannels. This is the Bf-110c. And there is a spelling mistake in the "Left and Right" dial.

These are oxygen mask hoses, made from winding copper wire around a needle.
The main case
A scratch built German field oven, used by the AA batteries on the eastern winter front, with eggs in the pan. 🙂

Christian MeyerhoffYes Kerry, one of the best kit`s I`ve build so far. Can`t finish it because I`m still waiting for my wheel set from HLJ... And yes! The sound of a six cylindered 250ccm engine is fantastic. Pistons as "big" as Humbrol paint cans. I love this bike !

Kerry COXYes, the only way to fly mate. But what I was really impressed with was the cylinder head with the 4 valves for each cylinder in it. !!!!
