I am not real pleased with my close up photography. I am using a Cannon Eos Rebel on a tripod with Aperture set at max, which is F35. Any suggestion as how I might improve my photographs?

I am just not getting a sharp focus.

Remove background that attracts unnecessary focus. You can move the focus crosshair on the screen a bit down so it will get the model sharp and not the car behind it. Take pictures from further away, you can always magnify without losing too much detail.

I have finished the chassis and running gear, except for the headers. I will put them on once I get the body mounted. I couldn't resist setting the body on the chassis, just to see what it would look like. I have the ends of the body glued on and primered the body. A little filling and sanding and the body will be ready to paint.
