Thank you both very much. This one took awhile. But was a fun build. Now I'm thinking I need to get the "C" model and maybe do a SEA camo or NMF.

Awesome as always sir! If you are taking votes, I say do the SEA camo on the C model.

Dropped this one yesterday, trying to return it to it's display. Major re-build now required. Lost the pitot tube and one nose gear door. Ordered new pitot tube. Will have to craft new nose gear door.

ooouch - but with a 32-scale Mach-2 missile hitting ground, Pitot tube & one LG door sound like an +/- acceptable trade...

on a completely different note, happy to see this coming up - a very nice build with a cool cockpit 👍 - is this OOB & how did you find the big 104 from Italeri? I particularly like the layout & sillhouette of a green-grey camo Starfighter with 4 tanks. Five prolonged "fast looking" shapes in a very nice symetric config, would make a nice in-flight one day... + always nice to see a Thunderbirds tail in the background😉

Thank you all for your kind remarks. The re-build is well under way. Nose around cockpit is rebuilt. I have to rebuild the seat rails. @Slavo thank you much mate. It was OOB, with the exception of PE cockpit detail. It was a very nice build, fit was excellent and decal sheet was massive. I think it offered 9 different schemes. I have plenty of Star Fighter decals left. I want to do the "C" model that is out now. They also released an updated J and S version with the rece pod.

That's a nice one Clifford. I feel your pain with the rebuilds!

Yea my wife wasn't to happy with that one getting broke, she bought that one for me when it was first released. But repairs are going well.

Oooofff. That sucks my friend. But, as Slavo said, that sounds as if it wasnt as bad as it could have been.

New pitot tube arrived today, all is back together except for cannon bay doors and canopy. A little worse for wear but nothing earth shattering.

Album info

It's finally finished. I did very little weathering, as all my reference pictures showed very clean aircraft.
