Welcome Maciej. I managed to fix the hole behind the cockpit, later on it turned out the price was too low front of the cockpit, including the gunsight.

Have to put this on hold. Somehow I reached the FUBAR state with the canopy, need a vacu replacement. Thus I need to wait till my next shopping in the Netherlands. Still wondering how I have made that hole... 🙁

Reinforcements have arrived - vacu canopy is there. Finished spraying underside today, love that colour! 🙂

You should get one too, very nice kit if you avoid breaking the canopy😉
Airfix made my day once they released it 🙂

Looks like the fuselage was a bit tricky going together?
27 July 2020, 10:39
Łukasz Gliński
Not so much. If you mean the exhaust pipe, it's designed this way.

Dry-fitting as far as I remember, but penetration glue solved the problem 🙂

I completely missed this one, but it sure looks nice! Apart from the first canopy... oops. If you don't mind me asking, what did you do, sanded it with a dremel?
29 July 2020, 13:10
Łukasz Gliński
Well, at first I thought it's scratched and tried polishing it. First using some polishing cloths, then switched to my Lidl-branded-dremel-like tool. It turned however it was perforated already 🙁

Łukasz, you can try to request a spare here. For now maybe there is some problem due to the current pandemic, but you could try 😉

Thx for the hint, I did try it, but the answer was "we have run out of this part"

Ah the Swift. This is what happens when you leave a Hunter and an Attacker in the same hangar unsupervised 😄 Nice job too.

Super nice build and great finish! Your photos are always very good BTW, I really like the natural light setting. A question, did you use your own masking tape for the camo, or some precut masking templates? Very clean and crisp lines.

Łukasz Gliński
Many thanks for your comments mates, makes me wanna build more lovely new-Airfix kits.
@Thomas: I didn't use any templates, just some blutack and masking tape.
