Vittorio Gentili I had this project on hold for a long time, Stug had a light pale yellow cover and as I took it back on the bench I've airbrushed a soft layer with AK Real color Dunkelgelb; after I've applied Pritt Multi Tack to mask the upper section of the tanj and airbrushed several layers of AK Real color Dunkrlgrau, each layer from bottom to top blended with encreasing amount of white. Once I've removed Pritt Multi Tack I've airbrushed raw umber oil colour with enamel thinner to saturate and drybrushed with white to get the clearer color.

Alec K Sweet, thanks for the info. The tack worked great. No oily residue?
You didn't use the Part fenders in the end? May I ask why you put in the plate into the hull?

Vittorio Gentili Hi Bart, Part fenders are not properly fine for a F8, they are good for Panzer III, but are different form the ones F8 had.
I've used the gun from UM kit, I'm going to add it in the project list right now. I've manatained Revell Hull but prefered the UM gun instead the Trumpeter one.
Vittorio Gentili Yes Michael, they are. Non a bad kit, generally speaking better than Attak, S-model and Italeri. Not good as Revell or Dragon, but Trumpeter's level or ever more. Lot of parts to save for next projects. Soft plastic, not always clean. A very good kit according to me, even if it has some problems between hull and fenders and in the real action.
In this project I've used some pieces from Attak kit, that would be a very nice kit if it wasn't for very ugly fenders.
