Hi guys! I am still working on my TF-104 project. Will use the ModelDecal 43 sheet to represent the Dutch TF-104. As I want to make the model look more faded, I am tending to use the Xtracolor X6 - RAF Ocean Grey instead of X254 Basaltgrau as shown on uploaded pictures. The lower surface and nose cone are already painted. Tip, underwing tanks and also landing gears are just dry fitted. I´m preparing the kit for the next paintshop excursion😉

Nice looking seats!Did you already wash/darken the panel lines in the last two photos or is that just a trick of the light?

Marcelo Paiva
Hi Vincent! Thank you. Not washed yet. Just a trick of the light😉

Painting is done. Now I sprayed some Future to protect painting prior to apply decals and wash. Will let it dry for a few hours.

Very nice job Marcelo. Great fitting and paints. For the camo i would go to a more sharp fading eg using blue tac. Rare kit too!

Hi guys, thank you! Yes Aris, maybe a sharper fading would be more realistic in this case. I saw some pictures of Dutch Starfighters and they seemed to have a softer fading when compared to German ones specially when repainted. Thanks!!!!
