Jeremy Wiltcher Thanks, I like to do the what-if fake navy versions for some reason, I've got a couple more in the works now.
I named this one the "Splash" figuring that would be the naval version of "Thud"

Stephan Ryll Very nice ideal and work
Would be nice to see this bird on the extra large carrier it would require to take off and land
Jeremy Wiltcher Thanks, I have to admit I love doing the fictional naval aircraft quite a bit. At one point or another I've looked at many of my models wondering if I should try to "Navalize" it. And I am currently working on a couple of new ones to add to the "Navy" collection.
Jeremy Wiltcher Just picked this up, it was an impulse buy while browsing eBay, the original title proclaimed "Only one for sale in the world!" I thought that was overdoing it a bit but with less than 3 hours left in the auction I figured what the heck.
I can't find very much about it on line and would love to know everyone's opinion on the kit. Thanks

Otis Ball Might I ask what you paid? I recently acquired one of these and I also can't find any pricing suggestions online. Thank you!

Jeremy Wiltcher $69 plus shipping on Ebay, I had a hard time find anything about it on-line as well.
Günther Debiscop ouch... steep price... As it is one of the early 1:32 kits on the market, there are several issues with this one... First of all, It is a basic F-16A version and not a F-16N... In fact it is based on the first 8 models... so not even a Block 1... Also the BuNo did not wear the supplied markings (as far as my research went - still searching for photographic proof)

Otis Ball Fair enough. I drove 13 hours round trip, paid for a hotel room and all expenses to pick up a sight unseen lot of 20-40 year old model kits. Most of them are pedestrian. A few are very rare and I cannot find them for sale. I am hoping they will cover my time and expenses. If not, I will not go back to pick up another haul from the same source and they will go to a landfill.

Jeremy Wiltcher For me it wasn't about the accuracy of the kit, get the Academy or Tamiya for that , it was about a rare vintage kit. I mean really? the decals show the wrong BuNo, That's what bothers you? not the Giant LEDs sticking out all over or the switch for the electronics? Come on.

Günther Debiscop I didn't say it bothers me, a lot of markings are wrong in several kits (mostly the old kits), I just gave you some information/opinion
, that's all.
