Started some time ago but it is hard to build it in one go.
Plastic is not too good - hard and tends to crack. A lot of seam lines. Myriads of small parts. Unclear instructions.
Will build it in the meantime of Su-25 and Faun.
Hard to clean all those tiny parts parts that see very well on this green plastic.
Most likely will be a lot to correct after spraying primer.
It could be helpful cleaning the small parts when they are still on the sprue.
Yeah, I tried this as well. I helps sometimes, but usually small parts are attached with tiny sprue pin. One bad move and they fly away like a sling shot
Any progress? Really curious what you'll make of this piece

Great work on this big bird 👍

Great work 👍
In some of the pictures the camera didn't focus correctly, but I guess you know that. Doesn't change the fact that it's a model very well done - paintwork and presentation especially! 👍
Alexander - you're totally right. Pictures were taken with my old and now not so trusthworthy, EOS450 camera. Pictures looked good on small LCD preview display. My mistake that I didn't check on computer but I had to photo 3 more models and just was running out of time.

Thank you Choppa and James.
I think that model is ready. Maybe during the weekend I will have some time to take last photos and upload them here.
And with this model I run out of shelf space.
I just started this kit, how did you achieve the camp paint job? It looks absolutely amazing. Very impressive
Gosh!!... Just love scrolling through the feed and coming across dioramas like this. The work involved... Looks so impressive!
Top work! Everything very well done!
Thank you Roger, Neil and Neuling
As for Camp paint - well, as usual it was an experiment, using some regular wall paint pigments, water, sponge brush and later XF-59 and some Vallejo powder pigments. Trying, mixing, painting, trying again there is so many layers that I was never able to recreate this in my later bases

Finished - I did a base (if you want some detailed info - let me know).
Plane get some smoke and dirt and that's it.
Cool Stuff mate! Congrats to this nice tonka 👍!
Do you recommend this kit?
Thanks Konrad - yes, I highly recommend this kit. I's one of the best I've been working on.
It's quite expensive - I got mine with a discount but still it was 105-110$ but man, it's totally worth it.
Thanks a lot for your Feedback.

what a beautiful model. time to see it back in the timeline 🙂
A masterpiece in cool presentation!👍👍👍
Absolutely beautiful build & presentation. Thanks for bringing this back in the timeline Spanjaard 🙂
Excellent all around, particularly like the radar dome weathering - this is exactly what tends to happens to Ruskie domes when left to the elements 🙂 👍 Splendid - what technique exactly did you use - if you are willing to share? In my free time I experimented a bit on this, trying to achieve a 3-layer peel-off effect (as seen on some really battered Flankers - creamy white base, then red, then the typical Russian green, peeled to different depths...) Put layers on, tried gentle sanding, but did not get where I wanted to be... Would be great to hear your input on this particular effect, thx!
Hi Slavo - well I was experimenting with different masking materials and it tends the the best results gave masking fluid. It was applied with sponge. Simple but worked
yes, i have seen those, i intend to copy the idea eventually 🙂
Finished. Added base and some weapon stands.
Few touches on the engine covers.
Boy, that looks very cool again! Love your big scale projects! 👍
A true piece of art, the kit seems to offer some nice in-scale surface details and you made those look great 👍
Also cool base with the weapons on stand, awesome result!

4 fuel tanks
2 UB-16 rocket pod
2 FAB-250 bombs

You got a lot going on your bench Przemek 🙂 watching as well, fantastic work so far 👍
Hi Daniel - yes, true. I would say even too much. Finishing F-5E, painting new Tornado, doing wheel bays on F-16 and of course this MiG. A lot of thing to do
Glued wings and verticsl fin with a lot of putty

Really impressive work so far, this will be armed to the teeth+awesome. Preshading with splatter stencils = best imo. Looking forward to the greys! 👍
Ah! That's that Harrier mentioned before. Seeing how the F-16 comes along, I might chime in here as well.
Building small base.
