thanks mate. I am just figuring out the best way to fit the clear parts... none of them seem to fit as they should and I'd rather mount them before closing the fuselage halves

well I'm actually trying to solve this problem using white glue used for wood. It dries clear and will hopefully work well in the end.

Ok but watch out PAV dnt frost it i think ull be ok maybe try on a sprue peice first upto u i just think u done a exalent job on it dnt want to see it ruend good luck what about super glue and talcom powder as a filler??

thank you vorya

UCC: PVA glue is non agressive and can easily be peeled away from the plastic when dry, if the experiment fails. Super glue on the other hand will frost the clear parts unless they had a proper Future dip for protection... but even then, if I'd sand them over, a tedious repair work would have to follow and due to the complex shapes, it'd be quite hard to polish them... Oh and not to mention I noticed some mould defects in clear parts against which I am powerless... definetly this ain't going to be a contest build but should be ok 3-footer 🙂

Very nice work on the interior! I have that kit myself and often hesitated to build it, due to its issues but i can see that yours turn out cool! Now i have no apologies, not to work on it😢!

3-footer - a model that looks good when viewed from 3 feet distance 😄

Holger - yeah but good luck with it... still playing with those clear parts and dryfit shows some warping and fuselage misalignement as well

The ESCI kit is still about the best! I think the worst part of this and most Hueys is glueing the windscreens in! Paint a small boarder around the windscreens to hide the clear edge of the plastic! 🙂
