I am really enjoying building my Pz III M so i decided to go ahead and build the Pz III L from Tamiya really a joy to build you can almost shake the box and it will come out built i added a Eduard photo etch and a Jordi barrel which is to heavy for the kits trunnions an i will need to glue the barrel in elevation im not sure of the finish but im leaning toward an Africa Korp vehicle

worked on the L a bit this weekend also got the first coat of paint on, this is going to be a DAK vehicle i might put some camo on it not sure yet, also scratched a box on the back deck to hold jerry cans, now i need to learn to make my own tarps should be fun.

..You?ve got me bumping the PZ III up on the list of German AFV?s to build William??..both of your builds are sharp!! Glad to see that the side turret hatches on the Dragon kit were okay??oh, and tarps are easy?..I use either milliput or paper towels soaked in white glue and water?..just sayin???..
Keep the pics coming!
I?m currently building this dag gone Dragon Imperial Series Stg IV and let?s just say it?s not for the novice?..almost trashed my airbrush cleaning it to boot???I think I fixed it, this could be a real bummer??..
Thanks,
JVJ

Thanks James, yes i highly recommend the new Dragon Pz III kits they are really nice, just normal Dragon hick-ups. im looking at using paper towels and white glue to make some tarps see how that turns out. My poor Grex is pretty messed up now also, i broke a nozzle sometime back and to finish my painting i combined different needles and nozzles and now i dont know which is which im going to have to buy 2 needle sets to get it right but thats a expensive prospect

..I?ll find out soon enough if my Badger Anthem 155 is fixed. If not it?s got to go to the factory. There?s a piece in the barrel called a needle bearing that I didn?t even know was there. I pushed it out while cleaning, not good. Initial recon indicates that Badger will fix it for free, but who knows how long that will take? In the meantime, I?m taking a look at this: amazon.com/Badger-Ai..=sotar+2020+airbrush
It?s got very good reviews and is attractively priced.
I was however looking at those Greks at Sprue Brothers store.spruebrothers.com/category_s/2000.htm
for no other reason other than if I decide to get one, it will be delivered in just a very few days.
How do you like your Grek? I know nothing of them.
Sincerely,
JVJ

im really happy with my Grex but i have only owned one other airbrush and that was a old Aztek so the Grex is the best i ever owned, really easy to adjust, easy to use and easy to clean my only grip is the nozzles are brass and break easily if your not careful but now i know and knowing is...🙂

I'm going to have to bone up on the DAK, about all I know is what I've read in "Panzer Battles"....but your MK III looks pretty good to me william!

I like it. 10. Pz.Div. fought in Tunesia- no desert there ( if you wanted to go for that dusty look).
