Michal be sure you first lay a layer of clear varnish before applying the decals.
For the rest after 5 years you still got the skills.

exactly because of that is why the decals show all that silvering. In a couple of years or less those decals are going to fall down.... Always aply a coat of gloss before and after de decals, after that, you can aply a flat coat if the model has a flat finish.

Use it on The next model, it is gong to be more complicated to remove the decals, remask The canopy, aply varnish, get new decals and all, better live it like that and move on to your next model and see how your technique improves from model to model.

I'm now working on UH-1D from Italeri and I'm worried about the quality of the model, because there is lot of gaps between plexi and doors (it's smaller from factory..)
But I'll finish it! 🙂
