I've never been to a modelers' show, or a club meeting for that matter, so I'm quite envious when I see photo shoots like this! I think my favorites were the dragon w/rider, the Me-321, the diorama of the captured Horton and the diorama of the crash landed Marauder. Thanks for sharing!

Oh I could well imagine, I see that nearly every day online enough but to actually see them in person! I bet it is great motivation to get back to the workbench though isn't it? The Star Wars stuff reminded me of a diorama I saw the other day on Facebook. A beautifully produced AT-AT with a to-scale snow speeder crashed into the snow next to it. The AT-AT was lifting it's starboard aft leg and a stream of some "unknown fluid" was coming from its aft hip structure and impacting the snow speeder, with the pilot observing propped up on his elbows on his posterior side from where he had crawled after his crash landing as though in shock. It gave everyone in my home a good laugh.

Great pic's. My favourite this time is the rotten Type XXIII on the beach.

Thanks Guys. I only photographed about half of what was on display! I wish this event happened more than once a year! The Type XXIII was about 4 feet long on the base! And had some amazing rust detail. In fact these were some of the best dioramas i've ever seen along with the crash landed Marauder and the Ho229 building and the steam powered tractor pulling those guns along was also stunning! Also the bare metal U-2 and the Bell X-1A also had very realistic finish.

Hi Arne, I'm not sure if it's the old MPC kit? (could be?) It looked about the size of the MPC kit, Maybe Bandi or Finemoulds? Does anyone else know?

that stranded sub is pretty good, a bit straight to be washed ashore, but it gives a nice idea for my Biber

Album info

The final few photos of another great long weekend. Finished off with the swap and smell, Oh i mean sell! I picked up some real cheap kits there only paying $5, $10 and no more than $20 for the items i brought. I was looking for old boxings of Hasegawa, Dragon and Trumpeter stuff. Mostly ones with ratty boxes and buggered decals! As i only want the kits to use with newer aftermarket decals! I found 3 P-38 Lightnings for very cheap prices along with another Airfix TSR.2 for $20 bucks for the "What if" decals. Enjoy the pics!
