The cockpit interior looks incredible considering the scale. I'm really looking forward to the next build process!

Taking a seat. How's the part count on this kit (I have heard complaints of too many tiny parts on ClearProp kits)?

I'll follow also, waiting for the regular S to pop up, but it will give a nice overview of the product that was really looking good on internet.
Wondering if that Mig-19 is easier than the Mig-23 by the way, please let us know !

Hi guys! Welcome and thanks for your nice feedback. So far the kit is a typical ClearPropModels with their typical engineering: many parts (180pcs), a very tight fight that allows almost 0 deviations in the assembly, but if you are patient and careful during the assembly of subassemblies the result is great. In terms of details you get out of the box, ClearPropModels is benchmark for me - they push it to the limit of modern injection tool production and plastic moulding. What I don't like on their kits is the part separation - you have to consider a lot of time to fill and sand the sometimes strange positioned seams and the price ... So definitely not a beginner kit if you want to get rid of the seams for a high quality finish.

just received mine, so will jump in on this to see how it builds....
I echo previous comments- having survived their MiG-23, I hope this one builds easier!

thanks all! @Andy: I don´t know their MiG-23 kit but I think the "language" is common in all ClearPropModel kits. My impression is that the 1/72 kits are just shrinked down 1/48 designs. That has pros and cons as everywhere ... I already completed all subassemblies like wings and cleared out all unwanted seems and at least main fuselages halfs are glued together. It´s very tight and I recognized huge tension after both halfs were glued in place. I cracked the connection again on the less visible area and released the pressure ... no risk on NMF finish ... The result now is a filled gap of 0.5mm which easily is manageable to be not visible. The rest looks very good from the dryfits. Pictures will be shared soon here.

Welcome all! @Michael: how comes you don't like her? To me it's one of the most beautiful cold war jets ever 🤷‍♂️ @Sergej: don't make me blushing …. 🙈 pressure is on to deliver now 🙈

Well, you can't argue about taste. I like the Mig15 and 21 and 29, the others less so. But that's just me of course. 😉

I do agree regarding the tube purity of the lines ! And the swept of the wings !
Receive my copy this week end, and the kit is really very fine ... comparing the the Bilek one.
Was wondring to put the Amigo Model resin cockpit, but it is not much more detailed, so will go either from the box

Welcome Guy and Cuajete! I hope I won´t disappoint you😁. @Fanchig: I already managed the wings and 80% of the seams on the fuselage. Its´s time consuming but definitely worth the effort. Swept of the wings has to be reworked a bit, yes. I hope you enjoy your build as much as I do. Except dealing with the seams an absolute joy for me 😊
