Build this one during 3rd Scalemates Meeting. My first 1:144 scale jet. I think detail is excellent for this size. Fit was without issues and it was generally a great pleasure. In my experience you don't save time compared to a 1:72 jet because you have to work very carefully. Masking and painting in this scale takes a lot of time.

All I can say is one big WOW.

Very nice and sharp work Ingmar. Yep. some of the tiny birds are well detailed close to a scale 1/72 kit, therefore you need time to build and paint it as accurate as possible.

Thank you Marko & Christian

Ingmar. You are exactly right in saying that these 1/144 kits demand a higher degree of attention to detail than 1/72, but I would say they demand more than most scales, and you have mastered it beautifully my friend.
I happily say 'Salute'.
👍 👍 👍

Very nice, I like it 🙂 But panel lines are a bit too dark..

Hi Ingmar! Nice to see that this one is finished! The pics speek for themselves. The only thing that I would have changed is the color of the nozzels. In my opinion thome metal color would be helpful. But anyway... Excellent job!

Thx mates! I agree that the panel lines are rather dark. But I have to agree with Choppa... I kind of like that look. It helps to bring out the small details. Here on the pictures all jets have the same size - be it 1:144 or 1:32 😉 But yes, they are very prominent.
@Christian. Actually the nozzles were painted in an metallic color. But I have to agree that on the pictures they look like flat Grey. In any case this is for sure an area I have to work on in the future as it never turned out satisfying in the past.

By the way, I start with just a MiG-21 and now I have a large stash of 144 aero planes. You'll get infected by these tiny birds mate🙂 Looking forward to the next one - heheh.

Well... I don't know if I'm truly infected. At the Moment my stash is purely 1:72 regarding modern jets. But I'm not fixed to any scale. Building from 1:35 down to 1:700.... So there might be future 1:144 kits on my desk if the subject is interesting. At the moment I'm working on a A-6 'truder in 1:72 and of course the Prinz Eugen in 1:350.

I wouldn´t believe it´s 1:144 if you didn´t say it. Gorgeous work.
