This is exactly what got me into modelling. The rapid development of armour over a eight year period. What you are looking at is the jump from post WW1 design doctrine to the MBT of today. All essentially done in eight years. OK, I know the technology has improved emensely since but modern hull design was virtually close to templated in 1945 with the JS3 / Tiger B.

Album info

This is my completed TriStar Pz.Kpfw. 38(t) Ausf. F serving with the 19th Panzer Division in Russia, winter early 1942. The white wash is heavily worn and was done mostly with white oil washes. The kit was very well detailed and included individual track links which took some time to assemble.
