I like when kit has pilots. I changed GIBs head position (and hose) to looking left (at you)

Even some details on back. Tamiya provided decals for pilots and ejection seats

The kit decal screen color is quite bright. I used Tamiya clear Green to get the screens a bit darker. I really like that Tamiya made the console color dark grey not black.

Last good view to the cockpit, without sidewalls and outside of the cockpit. I used soldering wire and brass wires

There was no any detail to the side walls, so I made some out of wires and plastic strip

Thinner wires to the other wall. You have to be careful not to put details to the places that have wheel well door parts etc.

Main wheel wells also gets some wires as typical Tamiya style there is none.

I bended the wires to the right places. I did this before I attached top fuselage/wing so that I could get more easily to the inside walls

I also added some green wires, as there were too few from first installment

After top fuselage is installed I added some more wires painted and weathered wheel bays

Odd thing for Tamiya kit, but the fit is not perfect. I'm not totally sure if it me, but I can't figure out what I could have done wrong..

Roy McKay: You should stop what ever you are working on and start this one, or wait until you need some mojo build. This kit is really good.

I put comparison shot between FineMolds wheel bay and Tamiya one (whole comparison is in my channel Youtube Video ) What do you think about Tamiya decision not to put wire/hose details on the wheel wells at all? In my opinion it is better not to have wires than bad ones, but surely Tamiya could put those on as clearly seen for example on their F-35 (1/48) weapons bay..
