Looks like a really clean build. Can't wait to see it finished!

I'm not familiar with the manufacturer but it looks like a fun build, what were the issues?
Final results look pretty darn good and should paint up nicely!

@ Wiliam: The update set is not so bad, but the resin pieces are partially worse than the kit parts...
And for the opened rear doors, I want to put the truck into a small loading scene.

Great job. Yall make it sound like a dog of a kit. But from what I see it was nothing that hindered you making it look super! 🙂

Hi guys.
At first, let me wish you a happy new year!
Maybe it will bring me some more time for modelling...
I finally finished painting my Einheitsdiesel, but at the moment, I don't have a really good idea for a scene to place it.
So, it will be put aside to raise again somewhat later.. 😉

really nice work on this Einheits your modulation and shading are outstanding i think the German grey is the hardest color to modulate, did you use the the AK set?

Thanks a lot!
I used the vallejo model-air panzer grey as base color and gave it some Highlights. For the Modulation, i used different MIG washes and blended pigments.
It was the first time that i used AK White Spirit instead of lighter fuel to blend the washes and the pigments. It dries somewhat slower, but the effect is much better!
The bigger part of my kits in the last time (not all of them are presented here until now) were painted in panzer grey and i have to say that when you try the one or the other method, the results get more and more convincing.
Nonetheless, my next one gets a three-tone-pattern... 🙂

Album info

I put aside my anger 'bout that kit, took a deep breath and finally finished the built.
Here it is, waiting for its painting.
...In the End, it wasn't that bad...
