Does anyone know where I can locate a .30 mg for a centurion? Needs to have the correct fittings.
Has to be in 1/25, but if it's 3D printed (which it probably will be) I can politely as them to rescale it. I've got two mouse house resin cast ones, but they are now used on other builds, the detail isn't brilliant on them.
Bozzer I've got to agree Andy, the community here, is far better, and helpful, than on the social platforms. For want of a phrase, better clientele?

Jv There is no place you can get as much information about any kit as you can here
even if there is kits that are not on the database
We can add them
We are part of developing the site
Its what makes it as good as it is
We can pick our interest
and sure many here bend over to help out with ideas
there is always someone that will pop in to help out
I also think its nice scalemates don't restrict what kits are allowed

Mike Thomas 😂 No worries, sir! You do what you're planning. If they work fine, I'll take what's left. I can change the scheme. No big deal. I already built the 1/12 version as the box art. A change won't hurt!
The gauges and whatever else, I can print. I tried printing the stripes but they need a solid background. Printing them on white decal paper is fine but that means they also have a white edge on the decal and they look like 💩

Was it hard to make the modifications? How much is scratch build from other parts or styrene/plastic/metal?
Also, I wonder, did you eyeball it all, or did you try to copy the original design by finding the proper parts used originally to make the scratchbuilt parts?
And also, where the hell did you get this kit box from anyway? 🙂
Btw, I once asked a museum if I could take photos, but they didn't like the idea as I remember it, they were afaik afraid of me making money off the photos I think. I just wanted to model the broomhandle pistol in 3D for the fun of it.
Ok, I'll tell you the story ....
I bought the kit in 1983, when I got some money for helping a friend's dad move house. I built it as per the box and had it lying around for many years. It got me into trouble with the police once when I was questioned about an armed robbery at a Post Office. My motorbike was spotted going fast near the scene of the crime and they knocked on my door to eliminate me from the case. They spotted the gun in my bedroom when I showed them my leathers.
Anyway, married now, wife hates the Mauser and my son likes Star Wars, so I went on Etsy and found the 3D items.
So I spent yesterday and today chopping it all up.
There are too many of them in existence that were used in the film, so I made a generic Blaster, is it Han Solo's.....who cares!
