I see that this kit was originally "borne" in 1969, and re-released in 2011.

"Progress" was the name of the supply vessels servicing the MIR Space Station that used an autopilot for docking procedures, but was expensive to make for a disposable vehicle.
it was used in tests to use a camera assisted pilot guided system which was cheaper to make, given the throwaway nature of these "Progress" vessels.
Two tests were taken both failed, the first flew by harmlessly the second collided causing air leaks and power failures, something of a disaster but no one died happily

Ironic that I watched the documentary on it only a hours earlier,
