That's it, when I opened the box, it was just WOW WOW WOW,

Great subject, and wonderful start as well. Count me in! I have this kit and am looking forward to building it one day, so I will keep a close eye on your experience here.

What scheme will you do? There are some nice ones included in the kit.

Hello Michael, I'm glad to have you with me 👍 🙂
First of all, when you start the kit, then look at the blueprint, I have found today, the parts are positioned so that you can form as a preliminary work assemblies that promises more stability in the end for sticking, the fit is also better held, So look in the blueprint also from page 1 to page 4, it makes some work easier 👍 I'm not sure yet Poland or Navy, both with "Nose" type ", only FS acts despite aging but nude

more pictures of the construction pleasure 👍, that is really a joy when gluing, spatula is not used yet 🙂

I do not know how many times, but very often I have checked the hull and dry again fit, the front did not fit, the interior parts out 100%, the cockpit inside, the front does not fit, in the end it was a small ridge of an ejector , it cracked and the hull fit together, sometimes you better go for hours to new, come back, the eyes are just better and focused on the subject

a picture of the Auswerfmarken, which can be found on most parts and unfortunately also on the doors and in the fuselage, that means alone on the doors per door 5 times spatula and then fit the window again, as beautiful as the kit looks to the outside, this Ejectors are the horror and reduce the fun considerably

Only 2 examples of the mischief Kittiy Hawk caused with the splitting ..., the UAW pot has 3 spigots for recording, I shot it like a laundry drum. a hole was always to see ...., so everything without cones, 2. The rockets, 8 or more parts, but made so badly that even on such small parts of the spatula must be used ....., the start The model was really a pleasure, but the farther you build, the worse the work gets ....., I hope Werner's Wing retains the right, and the kit remains the exception in the program of Kitty Hawk .... I'm still ready polnisch sagt man "Kurwa" 😄 😄 😄 😄

looking ok Jens although the Ju 88 were more to my liking
... and it looks like the wheels were a bit fiddly 🙂
... and don't give up!
... and I looked up kurwa in the polnish dictionary - it's never too late to improve your language skills!

Thanks Thomas 🙂 I have many Polish acquaintances, for whom it is probably the favorite word, every second sentence begins me a stressed Kurwa 🙂

But the motor dome is solid and filled, now there are still the openings of the carrier for the external loads, some are closed
So really only small stuff 🙂

Looks great! Looking forward to the finish!

Jens
Thank you Bryn, the end must wait, the windows in the doors do not fit, crooked and very different shape than the holes in the doors ..., left side I had to polish then again, it had become cloudy of Tamiya glue: - (but by the weekend it should be done 🙂

The home straight comes slowly into view, with a kit that requires a pure WOW in the box,
but if one devotes himself to the parts, then more of the colloquial Polish term "Kurwa" becomes the companion of the works ....
Therefore my name for the whisk, "Kurwavogel"

be that as it may
Following his motto, the kit again has very nasty surprises in store, the windows of the doors do not fit in the frame, nothing, niggesse, njet, nitschiewo,
gówno
Success of the first try, the door on the "dragon side" better the window had gotten glue (Tamiya extra), so grind, polish and patience,
That was about 11 clock yesterday, about 18 clock I was back from my day tour, and wanted to get started ......, fit well, but the body heat was then against any success, the "window" was again cloudy ..., a deep firm "Kurwa", the part in the collection box and happily continue, with the position lights on the engine housings ...., Green first ...., ohhhh, as you know, the Kurwa, does not fit the gówno, files, neee, no longer bock, so a casting a candle and Eduard tried the etched edge forms tried, went quite well, but I also needed some practice, right heat, right size, right pace, and not too forgotten, still in the warm state, so almost immediately after pressing, a turn with the casting, saving the annoying sawing the tiny Fummelteilchen and gives a clean separation point directly on the board 🙂
So stuck position gluing, windows finished and drann doors, but also there are tensions in the true sense, the dragon side does not want to follow the hull shape, so stuck up or down ....,
okay, nothing shocks me anymore ...
so demaskieren, finally admire the Green Roof, is premiere, I had no model: 1:
and again the Polish phrase of use came with deep grunts over the lips, on the left the Tamiya Kleber had searched the way inwards,
used to grind, even that quickly corrected something, something, there is no more to create, disassembled because I wanted more niggesse

and now comes the final spurt
Flashing lights, mirrors (which are then also self-made), the offer of Kitty Hawk is indeed a nice attempt, but mirrors just look a bit different, the mirror carrier on the cabin, I then made the same, if already frickelstunde, then in the whole : D
The external loads are also still, but since that too was not possible without the use phrase, they are also allowed to hold their position ....

After many attempts, the last two parts are homemade and finally glued

Looks good Jens!
.. nur der Sockel gefällt mir gar nicht, wenn ich das so offen sagen darf - ich würd da noch etwas Zeit investieren 🙂
24 May 2018, 19:55
Jens

Thanks Michael 🙂 and believe me, the outside was more stress than all Ju 88 of Dragon together 😉 😄
