Neuling Top build!
18. September at 14:53:28
Bryn Crandell Amazing! Love the squiggle camo. If you say it's easy then it has to be easy. Will have to to try it out. Again, AMAZING!!!
18. September at 19:50:49
Jens Thanks for the nice words, I am very happy if the camouflage can be an incentive to try something for yourself :)
18. September at 20:32:48
Rui S I agree. Great model, Nice work . I've this kit but i don't feel able to tackel it yet :(
18. September at 22:50:00
Jens Hello Rui, thanks for the compliment :) and do not worry, the Revell Kit is very nice to build, even with the BiG set from Eduard there are no big problems, which of course must be followed, it takes space, right Space as in the construction of battleships in the scale 1: 100 :) :)
20. September at 17:50:34

14. September at 17:37:42
James C That's awesome! I love the contrast of the camouflaged panels on the nose with the bare metal. Very cool.
14. September at 18:41:26
Jens Thanks James, from time to time you should also practice metal colors ;) and Mustang will soon be available in quantities, Eduard has indeed brought the super kit on the market, as even Zoukei-Mura is just a shadow on the shelf :)

Erik Leijdens Looking good Jens! Interesting kit also, I'm very tempted to buy this one too.
1. August at 22:09:57
Jens Thank you Erik, it is not a mistake to put the model on the wish list, in addition to the many military versions, there were civilian after the war and in France also reconnaissance and special versions, the kit is shortrun typically a bit rough, but still well done
22. August at 06:49:28
28. August at 21:24:02
Jens Thanks Christian, I could well imagine that the model already filled your stock and someday as one of your special works will fill the gallery :)
29. August at 02:17:31
Christian Lehmann @ Jens: This seems to be unlikely because of the limited space I have for my finished models. I
29. August at 04:48:48
Holger Kranich Nice kit and build, Jens! Does it have the Argus engines?
29. August at 05:27:37
Jens Moin Holger, the Argus engines are just simple Relieff's but then not too good should be glued into the closed gondola, you would have engines, then I would pour which of the GWH Fw189 itself from resin

25. August at 06:51:46

25. August at 09:14:18
Konrad Limmer Indeed ;)!
25. August at 09:44:19
Thomas Bischoff This brings a „me too" reflex :)
Very nice build!
28. August at 17:23:41
Jens Thanks Thomas :) I wish you lots of fun with the Kinetic Kit, but who knows your conversion of the Wolf Pack surfaces at the Helldiver, then he knows, you will create a goddess
But what must be a supply, lead, very much lead, the bird just does not want to land ;)
28. August at 18:18:39
Stephan Ryll Very nice work on that bird Jens

Jens That was it at the ICM Ju 88 C6, straps Eduard, Brassin wheels, Eduard Exterior and a lot of frustration on the kit and the errors of ICM in mold making, note the landing gear flaps, as crooked as the tower to Pisa, as well as the flame arresters ICM should really do something and make the shapes new and adapted to the original
Colors as base RLM 70/71 from Mr. Color, the RLM 76 comes from Model Master, black from Alclad is the primer
Small extras from cannulas and the antenna from EZ Line
22. August at 18:09:26
Kerber Great! There are new details for me - bubble rear cabin with 2 MGs, and double wing-antenna...Super!
22. August at 21:15:21
James C Fabulous looking 88 Jens. I really like the camouflage on this one.
22. August at 21:35:02
Jens Thanks Jeames and Kerber :)
@ Kerber, the details are very well described in OWL Decals, I have also taken over the idea of brush styles from the Decals, the normal "Kringel" meander I have already done very often, there was something new due ;) :)
23. August at 16:14:50
Slavo Hazucha Great finish Jens, I really admire how the final weathering blended the difficult camo together. Looks really good this way - all the little bubblegums placed over the whole plane really paid off, a really cool "creature of the night" :)
23. August at 21:32:32
Jens Thanks Slavo, the patina is nothing special, a mixture of black, ocher, green from the school watercolor with a lot of water applied, a cotton swab dried and finally blurred with a paper towel, and I see, not quite 100% clean, maybe that should but make the cleaning lady :D

Holger Kranich Hi Jens! Hatte die C6 von Sayn-Wittgenstein eine "Schräge Musik"? Oder war das nur in seiner 110?
20. August at 11:11:05

Thomas Bischoff well done
.. muss der Antennendraht so durchhängen?
12. August at 19:23:19
12. August at 19:37:14

12. August at 19:51:56

24. October 2017 at 06:33:36
24. October 2017 at 09:48:50
Thomas Bischoff New pictures? Finally finished? She looks great Jens! .. but there should be also a Yagi Antenna under the right wing ...
18. May at 21:17:02
Jens Hello Thomas, of course, the antennas must still drann, I'll use etched parts, but nothing is done, I had the model only freed of dust, the pulpit can finally make new and the week before the exhibition in Arnstadt / Tühringen I wanted nothing new start, the Helldiver was really something to distract, and it was probably time to update this version again :)

15. July at 21:21:28
Jens Thanks for the nice words and compliments :)
@ Peter, yes it is so easy the glue provides the hold ;), as simple as the colors, just bring lines with air and paint on the plastic :)
15. July at 21:31:06
Peter Hardy Glue eh? I might try that. Chewing gum doesn't work well enough for me.
15. July at 23:58:50
Jens Try ethyl acetate, which sticks faster than any glue I know, but the ether is reminiscent of a hospital :)
16. July at 00:01:15
Peter Hardy Tried that! Grew a third eye overnight. Is that stuff toxic?
16. July at 01:53:23
It has certain requirements when dealing with it, you should not drink it, in the eyes you should not get it, but I also disinfect it with small wounds and still live, a Mulga snake would probably be worse in the house ;) The safety instructions, unfortunately only in German and EU norm ( ohhh, that's english, Win 10 was too fast translating :D )

Jens Thanks for the nice words, that motivates me to the next ICM Kit, but I take a short break with an Italeri / Kinetic cooperation, as preparation of my fleet at F 18 Hornet / Super Hornet is currently an E 2 C Hawkeye on the workbench .
Since the building reports sound consistently positive, I think it will be a short two-game, until the exhibition in Lützen near Leipzig, there are still 4 weeks, so no need to panic :)

Die Aussenseite sieht soweit ok aus...
29. June at 08:54:14
29. June at 10:07:31
30. June at 11:37:57

If I look at the average construction time of 10 days for a 2 Mot with a little extra, then the 110 has taken a whole 5 weeks, think that says a lot about the need for rework, it's a real chunk, the hull is built almost by itself, also the assembly of the surfaces to the fuselage is very well thought out, but the fit of the motor gondolas, radiator and surfaces mock themselves every description, the painting itself was done then in a day, but until then the way was real work
30. June at 11:44:37
Clifford Keesler I did tell you that is a beautiful BF-110, did I Jens.
30. June at 21:20:56
Jens Clifford Keesler the Bf 110 G4 has its charm, for me it's the colors, as on any model :), but this year I'm really unlucky, the first chunk was the Do 17 Z2 by ICM, that's really annoying and a lot of time, then the A6A Intruder from Kinetic, the pure horror, whether the times will be finished is questionable, then the He 111 H6 from ICM, also very time consuming and then even a story like the Bf 110, it brings me out the concept ;) my speed suffers extremely :D
but I also like to say, once the pictures are in the album and the model has found its place in the vitrine, then all sorrow is forgotten :) otherwise I would not try again a He 111 of ICM :D
30. June at 21:34:13
Slavo Hazucha Looking really great - great respect for the fine-line job on the fuselage. I also like the finish of the flame-suppressors on the exhausts, it looks very realistic. Great result, well worth the extra mile of effort IMHO :)
1. July at 05:54:54
Jens Thanks Slavo, the exhausts I have made on the model only with Alclad II colors ALC 416, ALC 113 and ALC 104, the red tone of the hot metal sepia then provided the rust tone, then a little matte black for the exhaust, everything to feel and painted on each other and mixed, wet painting is impossible with Alclad Ii, that already dries in the cup :)

Jens Hello Bryn Crandell, yes it was really frightening, first one side of the straight piece with Revell glue dry, but it pressure from the front on everything, from the solid piece then each strut piece by piece and always the good old Revell glue, he holds better and more stable than the Tamiya, but without gap it does not work, from below it needs about 1.5 mm filling
18. October 2018 at 19:38:52
Germen V nice progress
19. October 2018 at 11:17:29
Anthony D'Agostino Hey Jens, thanks for the link. You did a phenomenal job building this bird up, especially liked the wiring/hydraulics plumbing through the cabin. Also the detail on the cockpit instrument cluster, looks like engine number 2 is running a little hot! That is a LOT of detail. It's a shame really, if you didn't have the photos as proof, it would be very difficult to see it. But I know why you work so hard to make it look so real, the satisfaction of pulling it off and the challenge, it looks awesome! Same goes with the engines. I did notice that there is a line of filler around the entire engine strut, did you have to cut out the kit engines and fit an aftermarket engine?

Either way, she looks gorgeous, is she big as well? Some people that have built the MH/CH-53E in 48 scale, talk about how huge the kit is. Just wonder if this is even bigger? Be a while before I get one, as I have other projects in line before her, but it also is a matter of finding one when I have the money to buy it, just hope those two variables meet soon.

20. April at 11:02:22
Jens Hello Anthony and thanks for the compliments :)
but in turn, there are no resin parts installed,
the spatula on the turbine nacelle is an acrylic spatula, easy and quick to process
Cockpit and weapons are taken from the Eduard BiG Ed Set or improved in the self-built something
the "burn marks" at the turbine exit are pure colors of Alclad a brass and aluminum, to Mr. Color of Gunze something Ror, blue, brown, pure yellow and different shades of gray
I have used cannulas 1.2 mm 0.8 mm and brass tube 0.6 mm as tube for the Seten weapons
The cables and wires are made of copper and lead wire, thickness between 0.4 and 0.8 mm
Base colors Exterior Olive Drab by Model Master, Interior Light Gray Mr. Color and Interior Green by Alclad
almost forgotten, silver wire 0,6 mmfor the feathers of the cannons

20. April at 18:11:05
Jens Thank you friends for the nice words :) The AHC 47 Chinook was such a model I was looking for a long time, but the BiG Ed Set by Eduard was a hit and miss that could be found like gold on the bench, the big disappointment was then the plastic from Italeri, from so modern forms so many flaws, but it's done and it was the model in 2018 with the most extra work :) Your compliments will make you forget all the trouble, but the next CH 47 Chinook will be 1:35 Trumpeter probably has the better shapes :D

@ Thomas, such open windows as an option, yes, like the engines, at ICM standard, unfortunately, but you often forget the precision in detail, so light and shade are very close to you :(
@ David, the model of 72 Hasegawa is certainly not so nice detaliert, the engines are probably missing, but it will probably be the greater pleasure on the workbench, the quality at Hasegawa is consistently convincing :) a lot of fun and good luck for the 111

Bob Hall Mighty Fine Bird I Must Say ! Pretty Colorful for the DDR ! Top Notch work !

7. March at 05:04:15
Jens Thanks Robert :)
@ Michael, spatula is needed, but that's not much, what annoying are the sprues, ejector like spigot, big big tap, the saber takes forever, some recording tap are just wrong, parts are looking for but in the end you do it yourself. ..., the rails of the rockets and tanks should be checked carefully, a lot of imagination and the glue dots are not always in the same places ......., really no fun for the money, but it's model making and not LEGO technology :D

Thomas Bischoff Nice job Jens! But it looks like the wings are not levelled?
7. February at 15:07:53
Jens Hello Thomas and thank you for your opinion on the 109 :) but since I'm not a good craftsman my question back, what is not balanced on the wings, or nievelliert?
7. February at 17:04:16
7. February at 20:21:41
7. February at 20:37:42
Michael Hickey Nice clean build Jens.
7. February at 21:56:24
Jens Thanks Michael :) is an Eduard kit, there it should fit :)
7. February at 22:04:24
Michael Hickey Yes, you would think so, the Spitfire Mk. VIII I just finished went together with very little effort what so ever, bar my faults. I'm hoping their Hellcat Mk. I I plan on doing after my Buccaneer is finished goes well.
7. February at 23:11:08
Jens Hello Michael, the Hellcat is just as easy as the Spit or Bf 109, only in the connection wing and fuselage you should look a little closer, that fits very well, but also quickly inaccurate and wrong

27. December 2018 at 13:44:45
Jens Hello Thomas, in the pictures it is the decals of special hobby, but the have but broke the clear coat, all bubbles and cracks, I have them removed and paint everything new
27. December 2018 at 13:48:08
27. December 2018 at 13:55:09

The rudder and the surfaces have already the white reason, I accept the offer for the identification number because I had experimented with tape without success. An inquiry with special hobby is still no answer :(, but fun it makes nevertheless, also the pulpit fits much better than with the "bazooka Bücker", the experience you may have to do with your also :)

Jens Thanks for the nice words, I'm glad if the Do 215 likes :)
19. December 2018 at 12:37:45
Thomas Bischoff missed that build till now - another very nice plane! Was there a fit problem between wing and fuselage?
Did you use the Vector stabiliser due to wrong shape or for more details?
One day I will go for a Do 217 ....
23. December 2018 at 19:02:41
Jens Hello Thomas, nice that the Do 215 can convince you :) The tail of Vector is just right, the Do had a pendulum rudder and that is not shown on the ICM kit, also the rudder blades are too narrow the hull too wide, many reasons the Vector to use, also the tailspin is made much finer .. Hull to surfaces is okay, the problem is the motor gondolas, too high, the landing gear rammed the top surface and the sides do not fit very well, almost as much spatula as on a Dragon Ju 88, Also, the pulpit probably does not agree with the B4 version, or there were still differences in the armament in the series. More soon on the Do 17 Z, then with the engines from Vector and the whole Eduard set
23. December 2018 at 19:14:58
Thomas Bischoff Thanks for the feedback! Now you mention it I would agree that the hull is on the wide side and the blades narrow. But you built it into a really nice looking result!

Sebastian Meyner @Jens: Ki-46 from Tamiya or A7M2 Reppu from Fine Molds? Oder kuck dir an, was ich an Japanern auf Lager hab und schlag was vor ;)

....or just check my stash for Japaneses and make a suggestion! ;)
2. December 2018 at 11:10:11
I get dizzy when I look at your stock, since I start at zero, we stay with the Ki 45, because I have the chance at reasonable prices to get some accessories to the model, and for the Japanese Flugzeugzegtypen it should at least something Eduard Being what the manufacturers offer as part of the kit's is almost insulting (even though almost 100% of the models come from jap. manufacturers), that was very important to me at the Gekko, especially because I wanted the seats against metal parts swap, the holes in the seat are just something you should also recognize the model reasonable

2. December 2018 at 14:24:30
Sebastian Meyner Puh...4 Wochen! ;) Also DEAL!
2. December 2018 at 16:01:00

Jens Thank you, thank you, thank you :) James C, Thomas Bischoff,
Christian, Spanjaard, Clifford Keesler, the model was already created in 2013, at that time I had as a template a photo of a prey MiG 3 on a wagon in Russia, described as a plane from Stalingrad, but it was originally from the Baltic Front and was there with the change to Hurican to Stalingrad delivered, at the time the production of the MiG 3 was already stopped, as I said, the model was built in 2013 in the summer ;) and was yesterday with an exhibition near Leipzig

to be, I have used the lead from the fishing shop, a pack as seen in the picture and rolled in the cockpit, glued under the engine as a strip, the V25 (finished in the pictures) I have poured the seat of lead and the tanks filled with lead, that's just barely enough!

Jens Flettner 282 V6 mini art scale 1:35 OOB

Done, and also an experience more.
It was the first attempt of mini art to create an aircraft, since I had number 2 but first, of course I started a bit more stormy ...., better you stick to the specifications in the blueprint

Jens Hello Eelco Gregoire and thanks for the nice words :) I have also ordered the new version, in addition to the Eduard set of Ärtzteile, and 1 kg of lead in the fishing shop.
The kit is really a joy on the table, I miss the small mistakes then quite happy :)

Jens Eelco Gregoire in the EU should have a stock of lead, according to the new regulations, it can no longer be traded, as lead wire and lead foil collect better in the camp ;)
