thanks. It's only the first fase of the model, so there's not yet much to see on it. Feel free to give me any advise or comments.

Do you have to apply a lot of decals on it? Btw, your work looks more professional than mine, so i´m going to ask for some advises in the future? 🙂

And i have a question, what coloures do you use? Tamiya?

Peter Segers
the primer (panzer grey+black) were Vallejo Model Air acrylics
the sky grey and White are Tamiya (XF...) acrylics

There a huge stack of decals in the kit. Also quite a large amount of panels are covered with decals. I wanted to handpaint them first but I am not sure I will. Still doubting about that.

Thats really not a easy question...

added another paint layer on the Millennium after having taken the pics. This will make the overall image lean more towards the 'whitish' aspect of the actual model which has been used in the star wars movies. Used a mix of Tamiya white (xf01) 90% and Tamiya J.N. Grey (xf12 I think) 10%. The latter will dim the harsh white a bit. Result is looking good.

Next step will be a layer of gloss or satin varnish, in order to apply the decals I mentioned before (I just decided to use them instead of painting the concerned panels, we'll see how it comes out).

Wow! I don't build sci-fi kits, but I have to admit this is an amazing job of weathering and creating battle damage. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Great job. I could never bring myself to spend close to $300 on that kit, but I do think they look great when done up right.
