For USN Ponies some wrong holes need to be filled.. marked with black. Only a TACAN on the left boom. VHF whip antenna on the right boom.

I found a number for a cover plate of the left VHF antenne. Decided to make one, since I am probably unable to restore these rivets.
Also, a hint of the 8 semicircular speedbrakes in the wing is made by evergreen strips.

There is no towel rack underneath USN Ponies. So those holes need to be filled.

Yes, it’s tail heavy!! And no place to hide the lead. I am now looking at some 15g just behind the cockpit aft wall. But still it’s easily tipped over.

The QB pylons pins do not line up with the holes on ICM. Figuring out which holes are correct. The aft one.

The roof was tinted and the windshield armored. Airbrushed several thin layers of green ink tinted Future on the inside.
Cleaned all resin parts with alcohol so hopefully tomorrow prime time.

I wanted to use my old Mr color paint jars. 317 FS36231 is too brown, as shown here. After this picture I decided to repaint the parts with Mr paints.

A wartime OV-10 had the weapons switches and a map holder on top of the coaming. Reskit has not. The kit is too basic.

and the windshield is too wide and brittle.. ?
(Roof is not yet glued. First the inner frame of the windshield and the HUD. Seats have to be installed before the roof as well)

Fit of the booms and engine fronts are horrible.. could well be because of the resin wheel wells, but somehow I am not convinced that’s it. The shape of the plastic seems a bit off as well.
Anyway.. lots of work to do.

Świetnie wykonana kabina otwarte oszklenie od razu przyciąga wzrok, a wnętrze wygląda bogato i realistycznie.
Czyste malowanie z subtelnym zróżnicowaniem powierzchni.
Delikatne linie podziału i nitowanie są dobrze widoczne, ale nie przesadzone.
Uzbrojenie i detale pod skrzydłami dodają realizmu.
Oszklenie wygląda przejrzyście i bez widocznego zamglenia, co jest jednym z trudniejszych elementów w lotnictwie. Wielu modelarzy uważa właśnie kabinę za najważniejszy punkt Bronco ze względu na ogromne przeszklenie.
