Christian LehmannDanke Stefan. Ich habe früher, so vor ca. 30 Jahren schon Schiffe gebaut. Heller^1/400, Segelschiffe von Airfix, etc., aber nie 1/700. Das Boot dient als Übung für die Derfflinger, die ich mal bauen möchte.

Christian Lehmann@ Holger: Wie oben schon geschrieben, habe ich früher schon mal Schiffe gebaut. Das 1/700er Zeug ist aber echt fummelig das kleine teil dient dazu ein paar Techniken für den Bau der Derfflinger auszuprobieren.

Christian LehmannAny hint how to apply the flags? I intend to use the water slides without any other foil or something. but I fear that they will get hard when dry and disappear.

About the flag, the decals went out quite well. You can fold and bend them, no problem!
Please allow me to mention one topic, the uniform of the sailors. The boat was used in the North Sea, so the uniform should be dark blue😉

Well, my mistake - sorry, I cecked some references and found out that the white uniform was the summer uniform and the blue uniform the winter uniform. So far I thought the white one was for the warmer regions and not for the Nort Seas.
So everything is fine with your crew!

Stefan FraundorferHallo Christian, die Bezeichnung "Großes" Torpedoboot G-39 ist ein Widerspruch in Sich, wenn man das Foto mit der Ein-Cent-Münze sieht. Auf jeden Fall hast du es toll gebaut, gealtert und super in Szene gesetzt.

Christian LehmannThank´s Christian. I will proceed with an L-39 that I started one year ago. Derfflinger has to wait. Nevertheless there are some lessons lerned from this project especially when I worked with acryl gel. The tuffest job at this project was the rigging of the masts. The filament I used was that fine that it was difficult to hold it with the tweezers.
