Beautiful result. I like the clean lines the cars had back then.

Thanks Michael, these cars are a bit before my time so never had any real interest in them until this kit came along. I'm definitely more knowledgeable about them and appreciate them more now

Good save if that has been stripped and repainted! I have the meng and the beemax kits, need to decide which to build...

After abandoning this project for a few months due to SMS 2k clear ruining the decals, eating through every paint layer and crazing the plastic (please avoid using this stuff, they've evidently changed their formula as it has ruined quite a few of my models which required stripping and repainting) I finally mustered the will power to push it over the finish line.

I ended up buying another set of decals made by Shunko, which include decals that replace the originals in the kit and the Marlboro sponsor logos
