Four wheels and just mud wings- nothing to fly with 🙂 That´s a premiere for me here, and I hope you will be merciful with my attempts to build this iconic car.
ICM´s kit is a trouble free pleasure so far.
I used Alclads "Steel" for nearly all the undercarriage parts and Gunzes black gloss for the chassis; The brass items are painted with the corresponding Alclad metal paint.

Thank you Björn, it´s a pleasure you will follow!

A few more pictures. The undercarriage is in an attractive way complex- and ICM comes up to this in a lovely way.

ICM decals have proved to be on the tricky side.... but painting wood- at least trying to do so- was quite fun

Welcome to the dark side... looks good as usual. How did you do the wood? with oilpaint?

Thank you Bart and Paul!
Wood was made with a mixture of pastels and, as a base, acrylics. I exchanged the plastic parts for framework of the window-shield with small tubes of real brass which I had comfortably at hand.

Finished at least! This was quite an strait forward kit and build- except the not so pleasant decals. The dark side did comfort me, thank you Bart.
By the way: what do you guess the the newspaper forgotten on the seat reports? Must be post April 1912.... 🙂

Well the timelimit is surely very limited... but it's a nice car in all, well done

Hello Roland, that was really fast, if you compare with your aircraft, but the quality is just as perfect as the flyers 👍 👍 👍

Wow Roland, great result! Due to a holiday and work on a parallel project mine is not yet finished and I missed your build.
I posted here on SCM a warning for a pitfall in the manual of this kit - it looks like you fall in 🙁 It is not possible to add the cabin later to the floor, the floor should be glued together with the cabin and the whole thing can be later mounted to the chassis otherwise is there is a gap.

Thank you Bughunter! I should have studied your WIP more precisely- you are perfectly right with the pitfall 🙂 So, to all future friends of this otherwise most advisable kit, read our warnings!
I definitely adore your work- and so I am looking forward to your work!
