A steadily growing air force
Villiers, obtained a large DC3/C47 on ebay started by someone who dutifully painted all large surfaces in a very close Israeli tan and grey lowers. No assembly. How handy is that? Cost £5.
Then comes the time when you know you have too many ongoing projects... even after my first re-set on here. Must be less impatient.

As for Ball's Monogram on early IAF colours, look, the Avias were wraparound light grey not 'RLM76' or 'RLM02'. Evidently.

Today I am mostly messing up a Jet Provost T4. I impatiently used an automotive rattle can for the red lowers. It consists of 99 per cent pigment, 1 per cent carrier. Every surface in the house is now scarlet.
