This is MiGs US captured Panther II just in case you aren't aware. The other side of the turret uses a custom decal and has U.S. markings and casting numbers. I was going to do the same with my upcoming Panther II build using Friuls, accurate armour conversion C-22, and Voyager PE set. But after realizing it was a U.S. scheme I scrapped that idea. Just a heads up in case you haven't seen the full MiG build from all angles.

Thanks for the heads-up, but it actually isn't the US one.
It's from the AK Interactive 1945 profile book. The US Panther II is depicted in that one as well and has a different turret number (S02) as well as a completely different camo.
This one is painted in 3 different green RAL colors while Mig's Panther II is dark yellow with green camo spots and some areas painted over in Olive Drab.

Unfortunately you can build this one only as a "What if" tank but not the actual Panther II that was captured by US army in 1945.
The real on was only a hull with a test weight turret on it. No Panther II turret was ever completed. Allies forces captured two Schmalturm prototypes, one went to England and another one to USA. This turret was never fit to the Panther 2 hull. The tank that you can see in the museum is from an Panther Ausf. G and was installed later.
As far as i know the original Panther II hull was painted in overall dark yellow without any camo on it.
Hope you don't mind me butting in. 🙂

Yes, it will be a fictional tank either way, which gives me a lot more freedom regarding my choice of camouflage.
I do have a couple of good factory photos of the real Panther II chassis, but like you said, it never received a turret in German "service"
