Tools of the trade.
Working on.
First coat of red , gunze 23 , brush painted.
Undersides : engine and exhausts have been glued to the chasis. Also testing the fit of the chassis to the interior and the bodywork.
Interior , steering wheel and stick shift in place.
Second coat of red , gunze 23 , also brush painted.
In the background another retro-project. This is the last update from my holidays, when I realized I had forgotten the tires ,,, let's hope that are at home.
Back at home ..... I found the forgoten tires.
So I went on with the project. Now at home.
Rear "glass" was damaged as it was in contact with the vinyl tires ... but I left as is ... damage is very deep and is really tricky to get it right.
Calling it done.

Another retro-modelling project.This time a true oldie from 1966. I'm on holidays in the Pyrenees and weather forecast seems not to be very good. So this is my back-up plan. Pictures have been taken with my cell phone. As soon I started building the 'vette I found the tires missing . So I had to wait until I was back home to finish the project. To keep with the original mood ,,,, the remaining pictures were also taken with my cell phone. This has been a very quick project , at least for me ... I'm a (very) slow builder.
