While waiting for the paint to dry on my Seafire, figured I would get back to this kit…
Resin cockpit upgrade is nicely cast. Painted with Testors Aluminum, and used an AMMO by MIG wash to highlight the details.
The Yahu instrument panel was way to wide, and had to trim 1mm each side to get it to fit. It is for a Hawk 75, bit close enough for me.
Had to cut into the upper wing halves for the gear wheel well bay detail to fit. Used the AMMO wash there as well.
Cut off the rudder and elevators. Will remount them later in an offset position.
