Ok, so I started with Arma Hobby Hurricane. It requires some serious modifications of the wings, including removing machineguns, filling some panel lines and making new ones.

Both models are prepared for painting.

Finally some progres. First layer of grey paint as primer, next Hataka Medium Sea Grey on bottom surfaces.

Identification stripes painted on both models. I broke one of the Hurricane guns so I need to glue it later ?

The clear parts in Hurricane were masked with out of the box set of masks. They didn't work well, what is visible on this picture ?

Thank You Villiers 🙂. As for now I may say that Arma model is made from a very soft plastic and it is easy to damage it - what is quite problematic considering all the modifications it requires.

To be honest Armas Hurricane is a little tricky. There is a lot of work You need to do yourself (like filling some panel lines and making new ones) and it is easy to damage the model while doing it. The 3d printed parts are quite fragile too. Still it was a nice experience. Saddly, since more than a month both models are waiting for painting and I am wainting for my laziness to end 😉

Huh... I suffered a small delay because of the carpet monster. I dropped one of the gun barrels and couldn't find nor replace it. Luckily after contacting the manufacturers customers support they agreed to send me free 3d print! Now I am able to continue my work.

Thank You mates! They declare on their website that in case if anything is lost or damaged by the buyer first part - plastic/clear frame, photoetched or decals (excluding lozegne decal sheets) is shipped free. Day after I wrote them a message their worker phoned me, informed that 3d print is ready and asked how I wish it to be shipped. I received the part two days after I contacted them!
