A-4C Grupo 4 Aircraft C-318

Thank you Villiers! Lots of time searching pictures from the time of the war. I built this one to be given to an A-4C pilot from Venezuela who flew them in the Malvinas Conflict. He lives in Florida now. (last I knew). This pilot was having an actual A-4C restored to flight worthiness in Arizona.
Album info
My 1:32 Scale A-4C from Argentina Falklands (Malvinas) War. This aircraft sank one of the British battle cruisers during the war. Upgrade resin parts (AMS/Zotz 32056 A-4C Conversion set) to get the appropriate intakes and antennas for this aircraft. Lots of research for this one because it was given to the gentleman in Texas that was paying to have the real thing restored by "Fighting Aircraft Classics" in Marina Arizona. McDougall/Douglas is the nickname of the company. The gentleman having the restoration done flew for the Argentine AF in that war.
2012 was the 30th anniversary of the Falklands/Malvinas war between Argentina and the UK. This aircraft is a replica of C-318 which was responsible for sinking the HMS Antelope and damaging several other ships during the conflict.
