The Bar armour panels need to be cut from the sprue using a razor saw NOT clippers as they are very delicate,

To get the right sand colour I picked up a bottle of Mission Models Modern British sand and mixed up a batch of Tamiya paint to match it. I've been using Tamoya paint for decades and know how to get the best results from it whereas I've herd utter horror stories about Mission Models paint! However, their colour match is pretty good.

The link and length tracks are NOT easy to fit. I should have dug out one of my Fruilmodels track sets and used them instead, it would have been easier!

Completed. The bar armour is a right bugger to fit - the attachment points are minuscule and the alignment needs to be PERFECT and considering the instructions had you attach the fittings to support the bar armour ages ago and don't provide particularly good alignments for them, its hard work. If I build another one (unlikely now), I'd leave the attachments off the body and assemble them and the bar armour at the same time.

This is a mostly scratch built model I built back in 2016, using an Accurate Armour Spartan body and an AFV club Scimitar turret and a whole load Evergreen plastic strip to scratch build the bar armour! When comparing this to the Geko model, the main difference is I made the bar armour too tall. Apart from that, its a pretty accurate representation.
