Brake line from Hasegawa, looks toyish to me -> will be replaced

There's a piec of plastic for the bulged wheel well ceiling. Fit is horrible, but luckily invisible on the finished plane
Aires seatbelts assembled, not as fiddly as expected
Everything in place, dust pigments on the floor and seat
Middle brown wash on the seatbelts

Fuselage buttoned up and cockpit put into place
Revi finished up, IP is a tad too low but collied with the sidewall. Should be invisible once the canopy is in place

The ejector pins won't be seen, tried to keep the RLM02 translucent
White marble coat on the spinner and all the other withe parts, white and yellow for the cowl
Maybe a tad to much colour on the fuselage band, the colour variation isn't wuite visible in the picture
Maybe a little bit better on the underside
Underside camo: RLM76, don't like the Gunze shade, it's almost RLM65ish, 10% light grey didi the trick

I kept it quite heavy on the sides because the RLM80 mottle will add a lot of contrast
Not sure on the upper wing mottle - Eagle cal suggest early JG27 style blotches. The original looks more like a mottle.

I kept it quite thin to have more contrast when the green is added
Same for the wings, just the wing root collected too much paint but there will be the exhaust stain, so I don't mind
First test cut with Tamiya masking sheet - looks promising!
Unfortunately the crosses came out 2mm too big, despite the correct size in the cutting program

Rui SVery nice progress.The streched clear sprue (great idea), the chain, the acetate (the white behind is not painted is it?) Lot's of detail 👍 Looking great.

Alec KI just got the Cameo plotter, thinking about cutting masks on it as well. Looks like there will be challenges 😄

Joachim F.I had a discussion on largescaleplanes on this and one problem is the Tamiya sheet. It's just too tacky - I ordered Oramask 810 and will do another mask set with this material. It's supposed to be close to the vinyl of the montex masks
