Thanks for the compliment Dirk! I intend to use this one to try some pre shading and washes for the panel lines....none of the panel lines actually line up on this kit..such fun! and the wings? The wings don't fit either! 🙂

Well, this one is an old Hawk kit passed over to Testors and next to Italerei, now called Italeri. About 50 years old... may be a waste of time, may be not...

Slapped on the decals today...this thing has fought me every step of the way and still hasn't given up (As predicted Dirk) This last shot is rather worthless as far a the kit goes but I wanted to show my portable workstation....this way I don't have to be behind my desk all the time...I rather like it!

paint is pure fiction off course...had to repaint it twice. ...found out my nozzle needs replacement, my airbrush misbehaved so badly I gave up on trying to preshade anything (next project)..the gloss coat crazed after applying, (hoping this will fix itself when I apply the dull coat).....
But I had fun! and that was the point...to start something, have fun and finish it, before attempting any "real" project and getting stuck there..

I did not know the Italeri kit
but the details of it can tolerate quite a bit
The Dragon kit (Revell re-circulation) but make a better impression
I have tried both, the B version from Revell, the S version of Dragon

So absolute respect for your plans
