Well done, William. Very authentic dusty look, in my opinion.

thank you Raimondas i use a three layer system, darker on the bottom and lighter on top with a medium in the middle to try to blend them together

Very nice one! How was building the tracks?

the tracks, are i my opinion the worst part of the kit, they are hard to lay flat and stay straight plus they all need to have the ejector marks cleaned up. there are tools from hobby trax that may have helped i think i would like to try them rather than buying fruils the tools are slightly cheaper but can be used over and over, but the fruils look so much better and are much simpler and less tedious so its a tough decision, but something must be done about the tracks but that's just my experience with them maybe someone else has a better method that they can share

Thanks for explaining, William!
I thought something similar about The tracks! The ejector pin marks are really a pain in the ass...;)

Nice T34 william, that dust you added really works well!
I?ve messed with enough of those tracks now that I just sand (or sometimes an exacto knife; which is what I used on my current build) that I figure out which side of the track link is going to be on the inside and just leave the freakin? mark as is. Saves a little time?.
Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing!
WF!

thank you James that is a good idea leaving the inside marks alone

Good Morning, Bill I see that this is an older post, but have this kit on my bench at the moment. Thanks for the information regarding the tracks. Have you had another solutions to these styles of tracks sense this post?? Just building this one from the box, so don't want to use friulmodel tracks. So far this build has been mostly gratifying, but find the directions could us some work. Like your dust finish on your T34, plus the light is very convincing. Catch Ya, Logan

Hi Logan sorry it took a while to respond and sorry other than what James said above there isn't really any way of doing the tracks better most of your problem (after sanding the ejector marks) will be keeping the tracks to sit flat while gluing them maybe a jig might help tape two pieces of wood down with space to fit the guide horn between them and glue them upside down maybe that will help
