Everything is basted and tied with threads but little by little we are assembling the different parts of the farm...

The roof seemed a little boring to me and I created a scratch attic. A little cardboard covered with thin strips of sapelly wood from naval modeling. Paint, a little sandpaper for aging and pigments

I changed the design of the garage part because I didn't quite like it. The size of the Mercedes barely leaves room to work. I have redesigned the walls to make sliding doors (the guides are missing) that will allow vehicles to be put in and out comfortably. Let's try and if it doesn't convince me we'll try new things...

Once the doors and windows are in place, this begins to look like a house...we continue working

Album info

After many jobs on airplanes and vehicles, I wanted to take a step forward in my training as a modeler with a civil scene. I saw on Aliexpress some fairly basic 1/35 house kits and we are going to try to scratch-reproduce a 1950s French farm-house with its interiors. And to complicate our lives a little more we are going to try to make a workshop or garage where They repair a vehicle, maybe a tractor, maybe a truck...we'll see what happens...
